EVANGELIST JOEL TORRES

Joel has been in ministry for over 30 years and is revered by Pastor's as a prophetic speaker of the gospel and has served in the capacities in leadership as Elder, and Board member for several churches in the Orange County area in California.

Along with his wife Yolanda of 43 years of marriage, together, have inspired, counsel, and help rise up others into leadership to discovering their potential and purpose in life, family and ministry.

Professions worked:

·         Law enforcement, Head Transportation Officer for O.C Probation Dept

·         Top management for retailing chains

·         Vice President, Marketing & Sales for a high-end Faux Company handling 5 star resorts, Casinos, and high end Restaurants nationwide. 

FAMILY: 

Joel and Yolanda have two daughters both married, and four grandchildren.

CURRENTLY:

Today Joel is in full time ministry producing a Evangelistic Media Program “Word of Power" under J TORRES MINISTRIES, and co-host with Mike Bearden "What's He Been Telling You Lately" broadcast program. 

Joel also works in Hollywood entertainment industry as an Actor and Musician by profession, and has been featured in several TV and Feature films.

MIKE BEARDEN

Over the last 25 years, Mike Bearden's motivational and growth strategies have connected him with thousands of people throughout the world. Through speeches and presentations, as well as numerous one-on-one meetings, he has helped individuals, corporations and other entities by strengthening the individual and developing teamwork concepts. Mike has worked with public servants, entertainers, ministers and athletes. However, his love is in connecting with people from a multitude of backgrounds and professions.

Mike brings with him over 25 years of ministry experience in churches ranging from 600 to 30,000 on a weekly basis.  The insight that the Lord has brought to Mike over these past years cannot be taught in school or read in a book.  Mike has learned serving others from the role of janitor to pastor of preaching to thousands both locally and globally.  In addition to his “church” experience, Mike has also had the privilege of working in the Marketing and Human Resources fields both locally and globally. 

Mike has a passion for leadership development through relationship. He enjoys challenging individuals on a personal and professional basis so that they can stretch and grow. Utilizing his background, training and experience, he reaches individuals and helps them find their particular goals. With increased confidence and better understanding of themselves, individuals respond and achieve much more from their lives both personally and professionally, on their own and with a team of others.

Mike holds a bachelor's degree from Biola University, and a master's degree from Talbot Seminary. Numerous conferences and seminars have sharpened his skills and allowed him to quickly discover the vital relationship between the personal and the professional and the necessity of a healthy growth perspective.  

Through his experience with for-profit and nonprofit/volunteer organizations, Mike gained valuable career experience. These experiences have prepared him for his own life purpose - to assist individuals and organizations to fulfill their greatest potential.

Mike currently lives in Southern California with his wife and three children.
